Some helpful information when obtaining a Birquest cat.
1. E-mail me at: katiedidit39@hotmail.com. Tell me a little about
yourself, family,
previous cats and/or pets.
2. Based upon your email information, I will respond
and send you a placement
questionnaire. Pease answer all questions and email it back to me.
3.
Based upon the questionnaire information and determination of an available
cat which you would agree
to purchase......
4. You will need to send a deposit of $200.00. We will then set a time, manner and
date of delivery of your cat. Ideally, delivery will coincide with when the cat has
adjusted to the diet you have selected to feed your cat.
5. I will provide: the cat, CFA registration/pedigree, proof of
immunization, health
certificate, and written sales agreement.
Additional Information:
When you purchase a Birquest cat, you must decide on a food the cat will eat.
You will relay that information
to me as soon as possible, and I will purchase that
type of food and transition your cat to your diet. This will make a smoother
transition
for your cat, when it comes home. I will make every effort to provide water
from my home, which can be gradually mixed with your water,
for a smoother
transition. Pets often get loose bowels during a change of food or water.
When
you receive your cat, there will be a sheet of instructions regarding
things it is used to at Birquest. For example, my cats all use
a covered litter box. You should do the same, for a smoother transition to your home. Once the cat has adapted and learned the new
home, gradual changes in any of these matters is much easier.
